Creating Balance in Yoga

For the longest time, I would approach Yoga with the desire to get a result from my body. Not really connecting to the true power of what Yoga has to offer the student. I was more concerned about making it to a class on time and the results I was wanting to obtain from my time in the class.

It wasn’t until I grew tired of needing results and wanted to truly understand parts of myself that I had yet to uncover. That is the true journey of yoga. It is the arrival on your mat and allowing some unique experience to unfold and show you something that you may not have realized you were holding onto. It wasn’t until I met my master teacher Peter Sterios and his style of practice that he taught me which truly allowed me to see parts of myself I had no awareness of.

As we come to our Yoga Mat and connect to our breath and truly get present we can see ourselves on the mat and off into the world. We come to Yoga to be a better person for ourselves and the people around us. There really is no better way to recognize parts of our subconscious that we may have not had the opportunity to discover.

Awaken the Teacher Within.

This is the principal message that I have been taught and what I continue to offer my students. To awaken the teacher within for me truly means listening to ourselves. Listening to a calling within and connecting to its message. Whether you take that principle with you as you explore deeper poses or when you off your mat and in life. It’s listening to that inner knowing- the voice of guidance.

In my practice of Yoga in Offering classes to my Students. I hope to share with you handed down wisdom, insight, exploration and an oppertunity to discover something unique and new within you. The oppertunity to discover is there. Lets awaken it.

Classes today are evolving. Working with clients is always a pleasure to help ย them discover a part of themselves they would have never recognized. I hope to inspire you on your journey
